About Jon
Logan Hart

Like every writer, I fell in love with reading as soon as I learned how. I devour everything, from science fiction as a kid and teen, to biographies, histories, anything about the space program, and not enough classics. Also like every writer I’ve always dreamed of writing novels, long before I understood how difficult and painful it is to write a book.

I’ve got a half dozen projects in the works, and this site will chronicle my journey in finishing and publishing them. I’m guessing most people won’t care a lot about that, which is fine! The site will also be the place where I announce each book and story, make special offers, and talk about the craft and business of writing.

The great Hugh Howey has said that the enemy of novels is not enough people who read for pleasure. Because of this I tutor kindergartners through third-graders in phonics-based reading.

I’m convinced that reading for pleasure is one of, if not the most important ingredients to having a rich, full, successful life. And that’s way more important than selling books.
